Commissioned by Esplanade and brought to life by Siong Leng Musical Association, The Heart of Jun: Memoir of Zhaojun is a production that blends traditional Nanyin music with contemporary storytelling. Our role was to capture the spirit of the performance, not just the moments on stage, but the emotions behind the scene. From rehearsals to final curtain call, we documented the artistry, dedication, and cultural significance that went into this piece. This project wasn’t just about photographing a show; it was about preserving the craft, heritage, and passion that keep ancient art forms alive for a new generation.
